日本の惨事が早く終わりますように！タイガーリリー、ヒロシ、日本の全ての皆さんのために祈ります。

日本の全ての皆さんへ
大自然が、突然訳もなく、日本に狂ったように押し寄せたように感じます。地震だけではなく、津波まで。さらには被爆の脅威･･この三重の攻撃は、１つの国が耐えるには大きすぎるものです。私はそこに一生懸命、光明を見いだそうとしました。しかし、日本の皆さんが払わなければいけない代償のほうが多すぎます。
この災害に対する皆さんの勇気と度胸、態度は、世界が見習うべきものです。もしこのような災害が私たちの国で起きたなら、落ち着き・回復力・威厳を半分も持っていればよいほうでしょう。修復・再建には長い時間がかかるでしょう。しかし、皆さんが再び、偉大なライジングサンの国になれると知っています。
心は日本の皆さんとともに。To all Japanese people,
I feel as if for no good reason, mother earth has cruelly lashed out at you. It was not enough to send such an earthquake, but she also unleashed the tsunami, and now the nuclear threat in the aftermath… this triple whammy is just much too much for any one nation to have to bear. I’m trying very hard to see the silver lining here, but I feel no lining is worth this much for your people to have to pay for.
Your collective bravery, courage, and attitude in the face of this disaster has the world looking up to you. We can only hope that we are half as composed, resilient, and dignified should something like this happen on our front yards. It will take a long time for healing and rebuilding. But I know you will be the magnificent land of the rising sun once again.
My heart goes out to all of you.
