日本の地震、フィンランドのTS紙でも取り上げられてます
東日本大震災が起きた11日、フィンランドのTurun Sanomat（TS）紙に掲載された記事です。ヘイキのエンジニアは日本人なのですね。そして日本のヘイキファンも多いことから、ヘイキ自身も心を痛めた様子。Nicoleが私たちのために英訳してくれたので、ご紹介します。

日本の惨事、コバライネンのチームにも深い衝撃
Turun Sanomat 2011年3月11日 22:07:21日本の自然大災害は、F1パドック全員にとってショックだった。またチームロータスにとって、深い衝撃となった。ヘイキ・コバライネンのデータエンジニアは東京出身だからである。
「日本で何が起きたか、朝から知っていたよ。フィンランド外務省の動きをチェックしていて、ツイッターでメッセージを送った」
「このことは、チームにとっても衝撃だった。僕のエンジニアはつらい思いをしていた。彼の家族がその地方にいたから。僕自身、たくさんの日本のファンがいる。みんなの無事を心の底から祈っている」と、コバライネンは語った。小林も悲しみにくれる
唯一の日本人F1ドライバ－、小林可夢偉も悲しみをあらわにし、彼の母国が史上最悪の自然災害に見舞われたことを述べた。テストの間、彼は東京の友人達に起きていることを考えていた。
それでも小林は予選ラップを含む98ラップをテストで走行した。
ペーター・ザウバーは、他の多くのドライバーがまったく走行できない中、小林が素晴らしい走行データをもたらし、プロフェッショナルな能力を見せたことを称賛した。

Japan’s tragedy touched Kovalainen’s team deeply
Turun Sanomat 11.3 2011 22:07:21Japan’s nature catastrophe shocked everybody on the F1-paddock. In Lotus-team it touched deeply. Heikki Kovalainen’s data engineer is from Tokyo.
– Of course I knew right from the morning what had happened there. I have followed what the Finnish foreign ministry is doing and sent messages to twitter.
–The incident touched out team also. My engineer had a difficult day because he has family on that area. I myself have a lot of Japanese fans and I wish from the bottom of my heart that they are all okay, Kovalainen said.Kobayashi in tears
The only Japanese F1-driver Kamui Kobayashi was openly crying and stated that his home country has now met the biggest nature catasthrope in their history. During testing he was thinking about what has happened to his friends in Tokyo.
Yet Kobayashi drove 98 laps in testing including qualifications.
Peter Sauber praised Kobayashi for showing a great professional skill with a good working input on a day when many couldn’t have drove at all.Turun Sanomat, Barcelona
